Eating
The house certainly isn’t short of space for the important things, the eating, drinking and having fun. There is plenty of seating in both the dining room and the kitchen and the outside patio has tables and chairs for everyone to enjoy a bit of al fresco dining. Or perhaps you would prefer to hang out by the fire pit with a glass of wine or a cold beer and enjoy the scenic views or the moonlight.
The kitchen is equipped with a 5 door Aga, an electric oven and a four-zone induction hob – all you will need to cook up a feast for all. If you’re looking to get away from the kitchen for a meal or two then The Causeway Bar & Restaurant is well within walking range offering scrumptious brunches, afternoon teas and one of the best Sunday roasts in Herefordshire.
Living
All the living areas hold a sense of homely luxury, some with cosy log burners and others with large bay window seats with fabulous views – a perfect place to settle down with a book or magazine and take in the wonderful surroundings. Original features from a flagstone floor to wooden beams can be found throughout the house adding to its rich culture.
If the stunning views and countryside aren’t enough entertainment, we also have a 65” TV in the media room for those family film nights or maybe a game of table tennis? Later you can head to the Games Room for a game of pool or maybe even throw some darts on the way!
Relaxing
Why not find a moment to relax and take in the scenery, with one of the many view points in the garden. Sit back with chilled glass of something whilst you keep warm with our fire pit.
Sleeping
With a collection of 12 beautifully designed bedrooms, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding yours. All decorated with a personal and stylish touch, not two are alike.

Our Story
Wormsley Grange is a beautiful country house which was originally built in the 1700s before being extended during Victorian Times.
It was the birthplace of Richard Payne Knight, an industrialist but also a famous landscape theorist and a leading protagonist in the Picturesque movement of the late 1700s. Arguably more famous was his brother, Thomas Andrew Knight, a renowned horticulturist and one of the first Presidents of the Royal Horticulture Society. It is said that some of his earliest experiments with grafting apple and pear trees were carried out in the orchards around the house. We have named the bedrooms in the house after apples and pears to recognise his connection to the house.
The house and surrounding farm was bought by the current owner’s great grandfather almost 100 years ago and ever since has been a country retreat, a tenanted farm and more recently a family home. After the recent wide-ranging renovations, it is now entering a new phase, has never looked better and has opened its doors to you!
